LOL “After seeing James' cryptic social media post of an hourglass a week before the trade deadline, Philadelphia 76ers president of basketball operations Daryl Morey called Pelinka to probe on a James trade and was immediately told that James wasn't available. In fact, Pelinka responded by asking Morey if Joel Embiid was available, sources said. And that ended that brief conversation. These sorts of bold trade calls are historically a common practice for Morey, who also called the Phoenix Suns and asked about a trade for Durant prior to the deadline, sources said. When told no, Morey then asked about the availability of Devin Booker and Bradley Beal, too. Unsurprisingly, those were nos as well, sources said.”
Daryl Morey called Raffy to probe on a Sengun trade and was immediately told that Sengun wasn't available. In fact, Raffy seeking a co-star for Sengun, responded by asking Morey if Tyrese Maxey was available, sources said. And that ended that brief conversation.
Do you think any team would **** up the Fakers plans by drafting Bronny ahead of them and then asking king's ransom just to **** up the Fakers future? That would be ****ing awesome if that happened.
Seems crazy to draft a kid with mediocre numbers coming off a heart attack just to appease Lebron for the final year of his contract at 40 yo.
The Lakers have the projected 57th pick in the draft and Bronny is currently projected to go undrafted
Yeah 'willing to explore' is pretty vague as well -- Bronny would be better off spending a few years in college (he's making like 10 million a year).
The problem with that is LeBron doesn't have forever in the NBA, he looks like he does but a career-ending injury can come any day. I think the experience of playing with his son in the NBA is probably worth more than 10 million to him, considering he's probably on track to have a few billion. He'd probably make up the difference for Bronny. This is special case that defies many ordinary tracks of logic lol
It's not totally crazy for the Lakers to use the 57th pick to draft Bronny just because. Few people expect much from a pick that late. The thing is, now that LeBron is reportedly vocal about playing with his son, teams with earlier pick might just get Bronny to entice LeBron to force a trade. And having Bronny on your team with LeBron is going to be a nightmare for the coach. Do you play Bronny to appease LeBron even if he stinks to high heaven?
They'd be unbeatable IF they all have their prime at the same time and have their clones as their backups.
