There was a bit of an pity party echo chamber around here for a while.

The whole "process" was by design to be in a great position moving forward. Tons of young talent, an outstanding draft pick this year, as well as another 1st, multiple high upside future picks, cap space, no bad contracts.

Rockets are really in an outstanding position.

There might have been a handful of people on here that understood the process .... We're in a great place now.

I just wonder who gets left out and loses developmental minutes when they start signing free agents or trade for veterans.

They aint starting the season with KPJ, Green, KJM, Jabari & Sengun as the starting five.

    This allegedly confirms:

    Harden wants to return

Brown is coming via trade or when current deal expires and hits open market

Giannis(if Bucks ousted 1st rd) will quietly demand a trade to Rockets because of Udoka

Jokic/Luka are secretly talking about forming a dynamic trio under Udoka (and Green)

AD/KAT want to reunite their twin tower-ship under Udoka

Bronny wants to get drafted by Rockets because of Udoka, which brings his aged but still effective father with him to Htown

Yet you questioned and criticized Tilman every chance you got, this was the plan all along.... You were wrong, its time to admit it....

You can argue getting Ime is more crucial than getting Wemby

Tilman is an idiot, this is not in question, this is known.

We would be in an even better position if he had not pulled his "shut up and listen" bullshit. We could be +6 or so additional future firsts.

It's definitely crucial if we don't get Wemby.

But getting Wemby and keeping him healthy would change the franchise.

Part of the job to be questioned standing in the spotlight.

The thing was that those questions are usually asked by journalists who don't have the guts.

The deal would have ended after this year, I think you can stop thanking God now. Even if he and agreed, what would him being here prevented them from doing last 2 years?

You can argue that, but you'd probably be wrong. Historically, it's very rare to build a contender by attracting free agents. Most teams first find their #1 player through the draft. Including teams with great coaches (like the Spurs).

I'm glad we hired one of the top coaches, don't get me wrong, but ultimately it's players who win championships, and that's usually led by players their teams found near the top of the draft.
