    I thought Pollard's contract was up, you're probably right, but with all the young kids at Indy, he wasn't going to get off the bench. Not necessarily his fault just to big a logjam there. He would just have to be Yao's backup here, not necessarily big time minutes if Yao continues to improve. Plus he is a blue collar guy and banger. If we trade Cato we could use one.

    As for McDyess and the MLE, if you load up on the incentives you could bring him in cheap initially, no games-no money, not a bad investment.

    Don't forget Pearl Washington and Dwayne Schintzius are making comebacks. We might be able to get Pearl for the MLE and Schintzius for the vet minimum. Now you've got the perfect playmaker/distributor and the perfect backup to Randy Johnson..................errrrr Yao Ming.
