Acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker (New Supervisor of the Mueller Probe)

If the reports about whitaker are accurate, he does appear to be the worst sort of huckster, and it is unimaginable to me that he is acting AG. This shouldn't be a partisan issue.

 

Which "kerfuffle" does this clear whitaker... seems there are a number of "kerfuffles" involving the acting AG. Like why were there a series of changes on his financial disclosure forms leading up to recent? And why did he lie on his resume and on government documents? And why did he brief people outside the DOJ on an ongoing investigation? And why did he ignore the advice of DOJ ethics officials and not recuse himself? Or are these not important enough "kerfuffles?"

 

What exactly are you saying the USSC is saying is over? They are ruling only on the case brought by Barry Michaels. They aren't ruling on a number of "kerfuffles" involving the acting AG. Still.. no comment about whitaker's "kerfuffles?" Seems many of trump's nominees have lots of "kerfuffles." He brags about having the best cabinet... perhaps he should focus on having a "kerfuffle"-free cabinet...

 

Gosh... whitaker is not only burying himself but also any future trump cabinet member called in front of a House subcommittee...




Likely won't even save himself by this fake bravada tough guy approach... they can always call him back for more questioning... even after barr becomes AG.

Its clear that during the break someone from the white house must have told whitaker to stop the "tough guy" approach as he switched to thanking the House member for each question.

louis gohmert... amazes me people re-elect him each time. The most bizarre line of questioning (complaining about Sally Yates?). My gosh... he rambled something about "career people" that are not loyal to the president (my belief is that they should be loyal to the country and the American people... not to the president). I believe we was trying to throw shade on whitaker for not following the guidance to recuse himself.
