Eh, I took it as a preemptive strike to the eventual knee-jerk whine fests about "so and so cant do this" or "trade this guy for a can of spam" saying the team actually had a good year that got bitten by injuries hard.

I am just saying that I am happy the team is in the playoffs win or lose, especially with all the injuries this year.

I hear what you're saying, and I concur to some degree. There is still playoff basketball to be played, and the Rockets can make some noise.

But it's still nice to have some "glass half full" discussions in midst of all the "TMac Sucks", "If we lose in the first round this team has be blown up", "Erik Dampier is better than Yao" threads. Even if it is premature.

    Agreed.

Hey, win or lose this has been a better season than last year-- some good new young players, more victories, the great 22 game streak that is about as good as getting to the second round, none of the sour Van Gundy type drama.

With Yao and now Rafer out, it is time to just enjoy the series. (As we know when Rafer has his occasional hot shooting spells we can beat almost anyone.)

We will be the underdogs in any series, but we may put up a surprising fight and even take a series or two. In a way we are playing with nothing to lose which might make us less tight.

The season ain't over but Rockets have very good soul of the team and they can build on that.
