So much for the lockout and small market teams being competitive. I guess if you can't share revenues, at least you can get the small market teams profitable. Hooray for us fans....NOT ! DD
No one wanted to believe me when I said it. The owners wanted to keep more money, they never cared about competitive balance, ever.
It's fine, who knows if the Lakers will be able to sign Dwight. Here are a few scenarios to consider for the Lakers - 1) Paul has a good track record of being injured. 2) Bynum has a great track record of injuries as well. 3) They just fixed their most pressing need, an elite PG, but they just lost their biggest advantage, their height. So while it may seem that the Lakers are primed for the next few championships, I won't believe it till I see it.
Why? CP3 would have done wonders for Bynum, and Artest. He is exactly what the Lakers need to run their offense. He is the perfect PG next to Kobe. Not to mention he and Okafor play well together. Paul alone is a top 5 player. 2011 CP3 <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/7EVfuFOTsZU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
