On any given night, a healthy Dwight Howard can be the most dominant player in the world.

His athleticism seems significantly better than when he was on the Lakers glad to say, however looking at these videos, he used to be much bigger and stronger and under control, so he could just overpower defenders in the paint and use his quickness at the same time. Last night, pretty much every time he tried to do that it didn't work. To my point, his shoulders used to be HUGE. I imagine his doctors told him do not lift weights any more to build up his shoulders since that is strenuous to the lower back. He looks almost SCRAWNY compared to what he looked like in Orlando. So, the Rockets can't give him the same post-ups usage rate because it won't have the same results. I think most will agree if the Rockets play the same as they did vs. Bobcats, they are going to lose games, including the game tomorrow. The only solution is if Dwight changes his post-up moves to be more determined by the physical shape he is in now, meaning more finesse and technique rather than brute force. I just don't know if he is able to make that adjustment.

Nice post and observation. However, the highlights are against teams with not so big/good centers.
