Hey all, Some fairly quick reading if you're interested before the game tonight. I wanted to look more in-depth at some specific things, so I focused on how the Rockets went about facing the Lakers' different pick n roll coverages. From game one - ICE https://www.teaandrockets.com/post/how-the-rockets-attacked-the-lakers-ice-defense From game two - show and recover https://www.teaandrockets.com/post/how-the-rockets-attacked-the-lakers-show-defense The offense has been abjectly terrible so far this season, but I was impressed with some targeted adjustments they must have made not only in the film room, but live on the fly too. Compared to this time last year (I know it was 99% on Harden) where the Rockets got blasted out of the building on both back to back games against the Lakers, without seemingly changing anything in between, this was way more promising. Hopefully more to come!
Only took 6 games into regular season. Then took a dump when it came to 2nd half adjustment. Let's see what he has in store for Suns.
Have you seen the draft Zion to recent? I said I would draft Barrett over Zion because I felt Zion would explode in weight. Zion might have leg/back problems as a result. May actually become true. https://fadeawayworld.net/nba-media...mation-25-nuggets-and-10-cheeseburgers-please
Is this you on Twitter? This was one of the more encouraging things I’ve read about Green and I’m known as a Green hater.
So he's middle of the pack. Wonder how many of the guards on that list had at least 1 alley-oop play ran for them?
Shows that trouble finishing at the rim is apparently pretty common among elite guards when they first started. Doesn’t guarantee that Green will for sure overcome it, but at least it’s not a cause for concern yet. I was giving him a pass for the 3% since that always goes up, but I didn’t know how many others struggled scoring at the rim as well.
