85% of baseball players cheating?

I would have said 85% of the kids in my high school regularly smoked pot. But then years later I went through my yearbook and saw a lot of kids that didn't. In fact I'd say only around 1/3 did. I just didn't hang out with 2/3rds of the kids and it made it seem like everyone did.

I think the same thing is true for Jose's statement. That may be the way he sees it but go back through the roster Jose and I think you will have to considerably lower your number.

There are a number of people I was more surprised didn't show up on the list:
Sammy Sosa
Ken Griffey Jr
Frank Thomas
Jeff Bagwell
to name a few...

 

I was surprised not to see Sosa on there. I was more hoping Bagwell wouldn't be and, thankfully, he wasn't (not that this means anything). Thomas and Griffey, though, I would not assume. Thomas has always been huge and has a great swing. Griffey, never changed much at all physically. If you're using the "always gets hurt" argument, don't. It's kind of sad that a player that has some injury problems will be linked to steroids now, whether they did or didn't use. Bagwell's shoulder, for example. His father has the same exact problem. Did his dad use roids? Maybe, but unlikely.

 

i said no but it wouldnt surprise me if it was really a percentage close to the 85%. i think its a bit of an over exageration...
