Great article, if Harden reengages, Wall and Cousins are healthy, then this team could be really good. If Harden is moved we will still have an interesting team and an accelerated rebuild. It is only fitting to have a proper center with a post game in Houston!

 

I hope John Wall acts cold toward Harden if he ever gets in a practice and basically tells him, this is my team now son. Get in line! That would be a big eye opener for Harden. Basically, we've already moved on from you. Go sit on the bench or hangout with a friend. We don't need you messing up the chemistry around here.

Cuz they dumb. They let Wood go for 13M but sign Mason Plumlee for 8 and Okafor for 4.

 

Imagine a Wood & Harden PNR with legitimate shooters everywhere on the court

 

If Wood turns out to be what I think he will, all that regret about the mishandling of RoCo and Clint go out the window immediately.

 

Rockets need to trade for another Silver Lining, or two.

A small ball 5 that can switch everything would be ideal since Wood is most effective in drop coverage, like Cousins.

Wood still struggles to "see" the defense like he does on offense.

Aaron Gordon can be that small ball switch everything 5, the needed 3rd playmaker as well as starting 4.

 

Starting like the idea of Simmons and Woods attacking the basket and both handling the ball Coast to Coast.

 

If Wood doesn't want to play there, what are they gonna do?
Seems more like Wood agreed to a deal with the Rockets for full MLE (if required), then they got Detroit involved to get Wood paid via S&T

Might as well make something of it, get whatever return they can in a S&T

Feels kind of like our situation with Harden right? We're not getting equal value (ie, perennial MVP candidate) - but at least if we can get an all-star and some young talent and picks we are making the most of a bad situation.

 

Regarding Aaron Gordon

 

LOL - I would quit it if I did not really believe he is one of the final pieces needed to take the Rockets to promised land.

I'm not really an AG fan.

 

Don't think Casey is dumb, and he was restricted and they had room, makes me think they know something.

Not that concerned because we have enough vets but it makes me wonder.
