Texas will go after the best players available and have the money to do it. 4 stars, 5 stars, transfers. Texas hasn't had a great receiver that they recruited since Worthy. All their other good receivers they've had were transfers.

No reason Chambliss shouldn't have another year. Good for him.

Guys suing because JUCO years shouldn't count against eligibility is something that needed to be shot down, and it was:

    https://www.espn.com/college-footba...ies-tennessee-qb-joey-aguilar-eligibility-bid

Howeeeevah: Aguilar's (Tennessee QB) 3 JUCO seasons consisted of a redshirt and the COVID season and a year at San Francisco JC before he transferred to Tennessee. So now I don't know what to think.

It's very difficult to see how the NCAA is applying rules equally across the board. Maybe they need better rules?

    There's an extra year there:

    2019: Redshirt at San Fran
2020: Covid-Cancelled Season at San Fran
2021: Played JUCO at Diablo Valley - started half their games
2022: Played JUCO at Diablo Valley - started half their games
2023: Played D1 at App State
2024: Played D1 at App State
    2025: Played D1 at Tennessee

So he's been in college for 7 years and played football in 5 of them. Seems like more than enough.

I think the NCAA does have pretty straightforward rules. Courts just keep invalidating them so its become a total shitshow of what gets enforced and where.

    Well, nevermind.

I had the sequence of years and the extra year out of order.

I do love that Trinidad Chambliss gets another year (I believe his 7th?). Because he's fun and good for CFB

Pretty much this: I think the NCAA does have pretty straightforward rules. Courts just keep invalidating them so its become a total shitshow of what gets enforced and where.
