    We need him… and he needs us.

    Kinda cool to see Springer (first place), Bregman (wild card, but Sox playing some of the best baseball right now), Tucker (first place), and Correa all having a great chance of being in the playoffs collectively this year. (Not to mention Hinch, Cora).

    And yet fans will still boo Altuve (while he continues to march up the all-time ranks with yet another very productive season).

    The Dodgers got swept by the Angels (lost seven straight to the Angels this season). They're 68-53 (same record as the Astros) and in second place in their division behind the Padres.

    After their free agency gluttony, it would be a real shame if they flamed out in the wild card round. The Augustus Gloop of baseball.
