    Kobe's 81 was more impressive to me.

    No way Bam would've gotten anywhere close to 83 in the NBA of 15+ years ago.

    Yeah, I didn’t watch, why the hell did the Wizards foul him so much to shoot 43 FTs?? Just let him try to score normally, no way he can get 83 on jump shots.

    I mostly wanna see these foul calls

    The league is basically a glorified 5 on 5 ymca game with super level athletes. As someone else pointed out, something is seriously wrong with the NBA when Bam Adebayo randomly can get 83 points. That’s completely insane.

    I agree. Didn't realize he had that many free throws. Half his points came from the line but admittedly if Steph had a similar stat line the 83 would feel right.

    B/R since 1984
    - Attempts link {Bam 43 FTA, previous record 39}
    - Makes link {Bam 36 makes, smashed prev record of 29}

    - Notes: Of the top 25, probably 1/2 of those is from Hack-A-Player strategy. Andre Drummond and DeAndre Jordan are 4th & 5th ranked all time for 1 game attempts. Deandre Jordan twice in top 25. Ben Simmons in it

    Big difference in list of the players in the top 25 attempts and sn the actual top 25 makes lol. Meaning the hack-a-players shot free throws too poorly for the highest ranks

    The ranking before 1984 has a lot of Wilt in it. Not sure the reason of cutoff of 1984 for Basketball Reference

    I mean, congrats Bam, but it feels kind of like when AD scored 60 points in the all star game. Basically scoring in an empty net.

    the question is why would the Wizards foul him that much. Were they trying to help him? If so, that’s kind of lame.

    He was actually on fire early but definitely cooled off. One of the refs must have bet the over and started gifting free throws.

    Sounds like the baby-mama is using his girls to get back at Doncic for not marrying her. What a B. :mad:

    Some of the more astute athletes avoid this by waiting until after their playing careers to start a proper family. Probably the best way to go if you aren't getting married.

    The Heat scored 150 points. Wonder what the highest percentage of points scored in that set of games is.
