When you're as terrible as they are, they're probably used to it by now. They want so badly to be considered a big club...but they're about to get relegated.
I can only dream of hitting a ball that clean. It moved it he hit it outside of the foot but he didn't. Little better in the life of a football player scoring a goal when the keeper knows they can't do a f***ing thing about it.
Not sure if Michael Carrick will ultimately be the full time manager...but he's 5-1-0 and was previously 2-1-0. Something he's doing for this club just works. Yesterday's game against Everton would've been a 3-1 loss under Amorim instead of the 1-0 hard fought road win. I think about the unnecessarily dropped points to the bottom feeders. We should be sitting 2nd right now, just behind Arsenal, if we turned draws against Wolves, West Ham, and Burnley into the 3 points they should've been...along with the loss to a short handed Everton at home and we'd be on 59 points. Frustrating but my expectations for this season were already just hoping to get back into any European competition so I'm happy currently.
Holy s*** did Dortmund blow it. At least Leverkusen held on. Looks like Germany is just holding on to the 2nd spot in the coefficient rankings to get the 5th spot. Kind of feels like Spain will pull ahead. England all but has it wrapped up with all 9 teams in Europe advancing.
Amazing how each and every year the bracket happens to be one-sided and Bayern lands on the tough side.
