Crane went from most beloved to the most hated owner real fast. He doesn't acknowledge it yet but he'll soon find out once the Texans and Rockets do well.

the only young guy to be excited for is Yainer. All the pitcher prospects are hella pedestrians.

    This season is over man.
They’re definitely going to have months where we see the championship caliber play but the hole is too deep now.
The margin of error is too small.

It’s not perfect but we still have plenty of talents to compete on both side. And if we’re trading Tucker, Framber, Breggy, JV, and Pressly, we should be able to net few exciting young players in return that can help the team asap.

I can’t wait to tune into 790 tomorrow morning so we can hear from Dana how we’re only 5.5 back in the division! Sure, not untrue but what are you watching and what is Espada doing?? Why is Abreu still in the line up and why FFS is he still batting ahead of Myers and Dubon when he is? Why is Bregman batting clean up ahead of Diaz and even Pena? So you’re telling us that Valdez will right the ship?? Neck discomfort puts Javier on the 15 day IL? This is feeling like rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic……

I rather watch pain dry instead of listening to what bs Brown and Espada trying to feed us fans.

The rebuilding 2011-13 Astros were more fun than this.

It's even getting to the usually optimistic Blum

Where's your Carlos Gomez pic, just for comparison's sake? ;)

eta: at least Bregman doesn't flip his bat on the inevitable popouts

The first base situation is really easy to fix. dfa both the current guys and rotate c1b between Dubon, Vic and Diaz.

Fangraphs playoffs odds now has Houston with <50% chance of making the playoffs for the first time this season.

Rangers castrated the Astros last playoffs. They lost swag and confidence for real. It's over unless the Astros can grow them back

The Luhnow magic has finally worn off. It's sad

Is it that….or age……or a lack of leadership and accountability……or perhaps complacency and boredom that comes with long sustained success? And how do you explain the monumental falloff from Hader?

It's all that plus being embarrassed last playoffs after looking like you put a team away mentally. turns out rangers were stronger there. Astros got shook and still havent woken up. My hope is wearing very very thin now

It is what it is bro. I hate to see it
