OKC already off to a very strong start with no Chet, now Shai is down. https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id...r-suffers-mcl-sprain-miss-start-training-camp Can they be denied? Josh has got to be Giddey about being shutdown for the season in December.
Don't worry we will be resting Gordon at every opportunity and our starting bigs will likely not play huge minutes to find time for all the other guys we're trying to evaluate.
You can knock the last 3 teams off the list. It's a 4-horse race between the Spurs and the "collective noun" teams Thunder Jazz Magic
I think Presti - modern day GM genius that he is - is overplaying his hand in burning his tanks early (see Russia - Ukraine)
Is this guy really that legit? I've seen some youtube vids and yea he looks good but he also looks like he's 7'4 and 170 pounds soaking wet.
Although still early I'm gonna be honest I don't like the 2023 draft as much as the last 2. Yeah Wemby and Scoot look like generational talent but after them nobody stands out. Thompson twins? LMAO. Wemby is the real deal if he is healthy. Dude is doing things in a grown man's league at his young age that is just insane. Problem is he looks like a slightly taller Chet you have to wonder if he'll also tear his tendons once he gets bodied hard in the NBA. Scoot is a prodigy just like Wemby and he looks like he is gonna be a perennial allstar once he enters the league. If I had the no 1 pick I'll pick Scoot just cuz I like the sure All star over the big ass gamble.
The next revolution in basketball is bigs with hollow bones like birds. Avian big men will replace unicorn big men.
Despite my kidding and jokes about it, teams don't tank. Teams cant tank, if by Tank you mean the players try to lose games. GM's can field teams that are likely to lose a lot though. The Rockets got better in the off-season. No doubt. But its yet to be seen if that translates to more wins in 2022/23. My guess is the Rockets in 2022/23 will end up in the 3rd-5th worst team range. Does anyone have any insight to the strength of the next draft, after the #1? Will the 3rd-5th picks get you a difference maker?
