I agree I would have a staff for the baby. I can tell you this is 100% accurate though. I’ve been on this board for over 20 years. I wouldn’t just make this up. I was just passing it on.
No But it doesn't matter. There are tons of movie lines that are not morally right or respectful. There are entire movies that are disrespect and not right- Song of the South, Soul Man. This is no longer the 20th century. Society finally expects humans to be humane Hiding behind a racist movie quote doesn't make it right or acceptable.
it does matter. And comparing that quote to Song of the South is absolutely ludicrous. You have no idea what you’re even pissed about—that makes you part of the issue here. But go ahead and label everyone racist here
I'm off my high horse. I was raised in Florida at the tail end of the Civil rights movement. Because of how I was raised and the adults in my family and circle, racism was jammed down my throat my entire childhood. I have tried very hard to purge it from my brain, but it's difficult. When I see someone. I want to think "that's a person" not " that person is of ×××× race" To be clear, I do not think people of other races are less than me. But I still must work hard to not think race when I meet someone and feel they are different - again not lesser. I try very hard to be a good person and do not treat people any different because of race. It doesn't stop the defining thought when I see someone though. I'm sorry for reacting badly and sorry for derailing the thread. And I apologize directly to those who posted and my comments upset them. I'll stick to baseball now. Thank you for allowing me to complete that and move on.
713 in the 713 and it’s my birfday 0713. So, we celebrated by doing a podcast and preview of the second half. Talked about every FA pitcher and hitter last year that signed, how they did and what that should mean for the trade deadline. Give it a listen and tell me if you like it. GD, enough of this All-Star break already. You look at news sports web sites and it’s practically the same headlines as last Sunday. Absolute dead zone before the collective’s attention turns to football in a couple weeks. Seems like baseball needs to look into that dynamic
MLB could go from “the sport that kills sports for a week” to providing one of the most exciting weeks in sports if they scheduled things correctly: Monday: Draft round 1-3 (8am-4pm) Celebrity game (5pm-7pm) Home Run Derby (8pm-10pm) (No trades can be completed after Sunday midnight EST until the completion of the All-Star game) Tuesday: Draft rounds 4-20 (8am-4pm) Futures game (4-7pm) All-Star game (7-10pm) Wednesday: MLB TRADE DAY Thursday: MLB TRADE DAY Friday: Games resume, trade deadline is Friday 9 pm EST Imagine if instead of being bored out of our minds the last 2 days we were seeing a massive flood of trades to discuss. Baseball’s trade deadline is one of the most exciting and unique part of any sport and they bury it by letting it drag out and happen while games are ongoing.
