I'm not sure what the market is right now. We're not really sure who is available or might become available.
I follow the league closely. It's hard to tell who is available. Looked like Burrow was. I'd take Mills over Stroud. Stroud is trash
Sorry i thought you implied you'd play mills over cj, which is just trolling. Similar to bruno over sengun, and other asinine nonsense you read occasionally on this forum.
I love this exchange: Who would you want playing qb that's a realistic get? I'm not sure what the market is right now. You don’t follow the league at all? I follow the league closely.
CJ has to take ownership of his monumental mistakes and I think he has. I think he's going to work his ass off to get better. Houston can help by signing Tyler Linderbaum and doing other things to significantly upgrade the OL, RB, and TE rooms, which can be done. I'm actually optimistic that we can be the team to beat in the AFC.
Players who choke in the clutch always choke int the clutch. Players who perform in the clutch always perform in the clutch. This is true to a man. Texans need to understand this immediately.
So, Sam Darnold didn't perform for the Jets and Panthers in the clutch. You can even say he didn't in the playoffs for the Vikings. Yet, He seemed to perform for the Seahawks this year....in the clutch. Your theory is bullshit.
Darnold is a rarity Betting on CJ to have a Darnold type career is unlikely. CJ is more likely to have a Watson type career.
I assume this is parody? Sport history is full of players who were ‘chokers’ until they won a championship and we all retroactively forgot their early reputations. I am not saying CJ is John Elway - he clearly isn’t - but Elway was a notorious playoff choker for years. Just to give one example.
Puff pieces are fine. But CJ is nowhere near “plus mobility” That’s part of his problem, he’s an average at best mover.
