    Looks like we'll be fine from surge.

    I'm guessing had the storm hit us like it was forecast to Monday, we'd have 2-3 feet of water in the house, just from the surge alone and we're 11.5 feet up. So far, looks like we've lost a couple of palm fronds :). We'll know more in the morning.

    We're sorry for the folks in the Fort Myers area, but for now, we've dodged a devastating bullet.

    And we're drinking here tonight... seems appropriate
