I wanted so much to like Lincoln Rhimes but the one note acting by the namesake made me cringe and I really like that actor. Less is more. Evil on CBS was good.
The Plot Against America on HBO...it starts off painfully slow things picked up a bit in the latest episode the son called his parents ghetto Jews and said his dad was worse than Hitler...as he was headed upstairs, his mom looked at him and gave him a filthy backhand to the face...at that point, I had to pause and let out an applause
oh, i didn't begin to notice Scodelario until i watching the Crawl, i thought she from states. Unexpectedly, a Brits. imo, both Collins n Scodelario's performance in EWSEV are flawless, but in some way, as a supporting role Scodelario calmly stole the show.
the drama has been popular for a long time i would love to give Phoebe both Waller-Bridge's charming legs and her outstanding solo an A+
Have not watched Narcos but I really like Queen. I hope they end the series pretty soon it seems they are stretching the story a bit thin.
just finished watching Shamelss. Started watching Alone and I'm now on season 3, that's some hard core survival right there. Midway through the most recent season of Curb your enthusiasm and working my way through season 3 of Handmaids tale. I need a new comedy/drama.
I finally watched season 1 of The Boys on Amazon. I thought the trailer looked cheesy, and I couldn't really accept Butcher as a protagonist, but I've come to really like the show. Love it, actually.
Caught up on ozark and westworld. Watched 300 and rise of the 300 today. Also had a small kitchen fire that burnt a few cabinets so that’ll keep me busy for a couple days.
re-watched the Patriot with Mel Gibson and Heath Ledger because I just finished In the Hurricane's Eye by Nathaniel Philbrick (Highly recommend) and I wanted an American Revolution visual and while visually stimulating that movie has so many big historical inaccuracies. I mean, I get it's Hollywood and all...
Running out of shows... we just finished Blind Love on Netflix and I am afraid the only thing left is that show about the mullet guy and the tigers...
I suspect any current network shows will run out before they finish their season so we going back to the older shows and bingey shows Waiting on Bosch Rocket River
Started watching Westworld. So far, superb show. My only issue is how bloodthirsty the guests are, but it's fiction so whatever.
