I respect Amash more than Biden for being a more principled man along with most likely being more intelligent but I still believe a Biden presidency will make it easier for proggesives to have more influence in policy than if someone like Amash was president.

Agreed on both points. Any vote for a third party, no matter how sincere, is a vote for four more years of this insanity, corruption. There is an old saying... "fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."

That's an old saying in Tennessee. I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee that says, 'Fool me once, shame on ... shame on you. Fool me... You can't get fooled again!'

How does Joe have an uphill battle?

So let's just invalidate the million of voters who voted for Biden in the primary?

Why are you only going in on Dems/Liberals?

Can't these same things be said about Republicans?

Here's why I think he's got an uphill battle:
    • He's got an sexual assault accusation (unproven) he has to address at some point. Innocent until proven guilty I say. But politics are politics.
    • He's clearly showing signs of dementia or slowed mental capacity. I'm not saying that to be mean. It's obvious. He did not appear that way 2 years ago.
    • He's put the fossil fuel industry on notice
    • There has been silence on the Ukrainian stuff. I suspect that will come back to life closer to the campaign. Barr opened and investigation and Giuliani came out of the impeachment unscathed with all kinds of allegations. Could be because they found nothing. I'd wager that they are waiting kick that stuff back up again....true or not.
    • He's lost every presidential campaign (I've lost count)
    • He'll get smoked in a debate
I just think he's not a 'clean' candidate, which is what the Country really needs.

Man you are showing your true colors now.

Most of these are your opinion and some are just false.

When did he put the Fossil Fuel industry on notice, most think he has to close of ties to the industry.

He didn't get smoked in any of the democratic debates but yet you think somehow Trump will do it?

Have you seen Trump in these daily briefings?

    Nobody cares about Ukraine.

As others have said, you aren’t fooling anyone. You support trump and are tossing the truth in the trash while doing so. It’s dishonest of you to pretend otherwise, but that clearly doesn’t bother you.

I don't think I've ever said I'm an independent or democrat. I'm not registered with any party but I'll vote republican. Maybe you have me mistaken for someone else?

Uh yeah...These are my opinions on why I think Joe has an uphill battle.

He's made his stance on fossil fuels clear: https://freebeacon.com/politics/biden-were-going-to-end-fossil-fuel/ Google search comes up with several other articles on the topic.

Feel free to disagree. You're entitled to your opinion.

Yeah. Trump has done enough to to bury himself if he weren’t running against ‘the establishment’. The same ‘establishment’ the voters rejected in 2016. The Dems simply could’ve run someone genuine but the DNC won out. If Trump wins, the left needs to ask themselves is the DNC serving their interests or just making sure the power stays status quo.

the emergence of Amash as a 3rd candidate will likely hurt Trump more.

Steve Kornecki provided this analysis for the 2016 contest between Hillary and Trump, one without much of any competition from 3rd party candidates

    • both hillary and trump had high unfavorables, above 50%
      • due to a lack of competition from 3rd party candidate, those who hate Trump & Hillary had to make a choice between them.
        • ~60% of these voters settled for Trump
          • this would not be the case if there was a strong 3rd party candidate and / or a more likeable Dem candidate
currently, in 2020, the unfavorable for Trump is in the high 50s and for Biden in the low 40s

u don't think the current POTUS,

in his 3rd year in office w a compliant Senate and his personal lawyer as the AG,
    is the establishment ?

imo, the POTUS is the establishment

just like in a crap game in Vegas casino, where the house is the establishment

Perhaps the reason he asked was because you singled out Democrats and liberals?

There is no such thing (clean Dem candidate) in the FoxNews propaganda world. Again no offense but the above shows that they’ve convince you that a lot of nothing is something.

Also I can’t stand this idea of “Trump will smoke whoever in a debate.” Anyone who says that shows their cards right there. Trump does not actually debate. He is ignorant on nearly every topic so he prepares really cheesy insults he can respond with when he doesn’t know how to respond. It says more about his fans that they applaud this instead of realizing that he is ignorant and it’s actually a negative that he has no legit debate response.

Bernie Sanders and Liz Warren are two of the best debaters in the world and Biden held his ground. He actually got sharper during the primary which was a sign that he actually does not have dementia or whatever but was just out of the game too long and was pretty rusty at first. Yes the time off during Covid might be an issue in regards to some gaffs in the Fall but I don’t think he’s ready for the nursing home yet by any means.

More allegations on multiple things will come because Trumps campaign knows they need that. We’ll see if any of them seem credible. The current offense has some credibility but the allegation is such where it’s bad but I think context matters. We have no idea about the context of their working relationship. My understanding is that he made a move on her in his office or something and touched her down below. I don’t know what to think of that without context but yes Joe should probably give more of a statement on it and offer to reach out and have a discussion with her directly. I don’t think it’s anything that is campaign ending in the era of Trump by far. People on the left don’t want to be hypocrites of course but Biden just needs to show he’s not like Trump and handle it like a good honest person and he’ll be fine.

So true. I can picture him now, trying to think of another cheesy insult to throw in front of someone's name, while laughing to himself as he pats his back with one little hand and stuffs a Big Mac into his mouth with the other.

I don’t think he realizes that he was only entertaining to watch prior to politics because yeah it was hilarious to watch this old ****** with a comb over and the worlds worst spray tan act like he’s Gods gift to women, and sh$t talk everyone.

The world was always laughing AT Trump... not with him until for some reason FoxNews convinced ultra right wingers they should invite Pennywise to their kids birthday party.
