Texans want to play more press man coverage next season, so they needed a corner like this.

He's had some trouble locating the ball and making plays on it downfield, but we'll see. He's got all the tools, coaches gotta coach.

    Love these second round picks.

I just hope Johnson is smart enough to learn an NFL playbook.

Too many projects. Would prefer they drafted players who were more ready to play now.

Every time Jalen Ramsey opens his mouth, and tries to complete a proper sentence for the first time in his life (still trying), please realize he retained academic eligibility at Florida State for 4 years.

I find myself really talking myself into Lonnie Johnson. Dude looks like he could be a stud for a long time to come. Tytus Howard, too. Both seem to possess some traits necessary for a long, productive career. I think both will fit well into the locker room. That would be so huge for this franchise if Howard panned out. Just be Duane 2.0.

Warring and Scharping are interesting too. I love what Gaine is doing so far. Obviously the coaching staff needs to work everyone up, but Gaine seems to have a good eye for value thus far.

Only problem is we don't exactly have the luxury of waiting until next year for these guys to be contributors.

    It's on BOB now.

I know they won't do it, but why not sign Penn as cheap insurance and a veteran mentor.

Who said he’ll come cheap? There was also some rumor that he wanted to be guaranteed a starting spot. I’d love to bring him in too but something is holding teams up.

Yeah maybe not cheap, but unless we have a big surprise coming (Peterson, Ramsey, etc) then what the hell we have plenty of cap room. Another concern may be available spots on the OL. We have a bunch of guys already competing. I doubt anybody will guarantee him a starting spot.
