That game was certainly fun to watch. That play was the lead on SportsCenter last night and their #1 play of the week. Pretty damn cool. They also played the radio feed of Craig Way (Longhorn pbp guy) going nuts like Craig Way can.
I was there with a few of my ‘91 classmates. It was unbelievable. We were so incredibly stoked! What a way to win State!
After the NS game so many people were saying it was the greatest HS game ever..and I just kept thinking about this Tyler-Plano East game - great post
Stay klassy Katy! Katy quarterback to miss two games after using racial slur Katy starting quarterback Bronson McClelland directed a racial slur at a rival Thursday night, a video shows. The video, which was taken on Snapchat and then shared via Twitter, shows McClelland, who is white, using the “n-word.” “Pull up over (…), we’ll put your (…) in the hospital, (…)” McClelland says on the video. Katy defeated Tompkins 35-30 on Thursday and the video surfaced shortly after. The video was posted from Tompkins junior defensive lineman Tunmise Adeleye’s account with the caption “This y’all Quarterback right?” and the Katy football fan account tagged underneath. The video did not appear to come from Adeleye but rather from someone else via Snapchat, another social media platform. The video had reach 12,000 views by midnight on Friday but has since been deleted. Katy ISD said there are other related incidents that remain under investigation and that it could “lead to additional consequences for any student found to be involved.”
I'm totally shocked that a suburbanite Katy white entitled QB jock named Bronson McClelland (that's a great whiteboy name, btw) would say inappropriate things. Shocked!
Couple of should-be great State Title games later today on Fox Southwest: Duncanville vs. North Shore Part 2: tons of D1 talent on display. Denton Guyer vs. Westlake: very evenly matched, Westlake's defense is ridiculous, don't know much about Guyer
Watching Aledo on the small screen makes me quite pleased that Alabama flipped Jase McClellan away from OU. Kid is a ****ing playmaker.
Oh wow, didn't know J'Quinden Jackson (Duncanville QB, UT commitment) hurt his knee last game. Duncanville's backup is a 15 year old freshman. That's a bummer. eta: now they're saying that North Shore's Zach Evans, the best RB prospect in the country, will not start and may not play. Don't know if he's hurt or what.
Yep, 31-17, 2 titles in a row. Didn't even need the last second hail mary to beat Duncanville this year.
Looks like the Houston area teams showed well! That almost never happens when the games are in South Oklahoma!! Congratulations to North Shore and Shadow Creek!
