    Career game from Dempsey. Pulisic was very sharp in the play making role. Nagbe, Lletget, Villafaña, and Cameron were also solid. I don't think Bobby Wood will have any trouble taking a starting role from Altidore when he returns from injury.

    Well, that worked out about as well as I could've hoped. Just about all aspects played well. The defenders stayed composed and played their roles mostly perfectly. Howard is back to being Howard, though he wasn't tested that much. The midfield attacked spaces and took what was given to them. If there is any complaint on the night, Jozy looked out of sorts a bit...but I do think he's meant for this kind of lineup. He can stay with his back to goal and feed Clint and the mids, then moving off into space. Clint looked like the Dempsey we hope for every time out.

    A road game in Panama is certainly going to be tougher...but now they're playing with confidence and flair. They know a road win puts them back above the line with plenty of time left to solidify their spot in Russia.

    Also, that Pulisic kid...he's pretty good.

    Sure yet to maintain a level for a span of 10 years is not easy. Before you enter your 30s......

    I think he can be better than Landon Donovan.
