Ernesto Jaquez allowed a run. It's the second one he's allowed this season. He's allowed two hits and struck out seven in four innings of work today.
I agree with you, anyone that isn't contributing at the big league level should be included on "lists". Fisher and Martes both should be considered. Fisher has been a big disappointment, especially when you consider his eye popping natural skills. I just don't know that he makes good enough contact or has any approach at the plate. Martes has awesome talent, and a real feel for pitching......... unfortunately he completely refuses to make the mechanical changes that the Astros have asked him to make, and he seems disinterested unless it is a high leverage situation. Speaking of which.... can you imagine Martes and Giles picking each other's brains? I bet that is torture to listen to.

lol he was in the sense that he was a warm body that delayed Tucker's service time while not preventing the team from leading the division early on. was he in anyway a net positive though? heck no.
Fisher filled a hole for Astros better than Neil Walker filled a hole for the Yankees ($4 million) and Nunez ($6 million) for the Red Sox. If he's the worst disappointment this season, might as well start complaining about the 2018 Word Series Champion Ring Giveaways.
You may get Hector Perez for the 2nd half of the game too, as he started the game that Adcock finished last time. Whitley's injury is a bummer, but corpus starts enough interesting arms that just about any night you should see someone fun.
