I actually put Iron Fist second after Daredevil in my hierarchy of marvel shows on Netflix. You should try it out.
SALVATION on CBS (7/12/17)When an MIT grad student realizes that an asteroid is set to collide with Earth in 186 days, he joins forces with a tech billionaire and the U.S. government in hopes of preventing a disaster; a conspiracy comes to light. Armageddon and Deep Impact in sEries? What kind of conspiracy could be afoot Aliens pushed the asteroid our way? Might check the Pilot Anyone seen this? ----------- The Strain came back strong. Lost in the GOT premeire alot of people seems to have missed this one This total shift to the new world was jarring but i will see where it goes Rocket River
Not impressed. . . .not by half It is kind of rushed and exceedingly generic CBS has some good ideas and shows that never got off the ground like FLASH FORWARD Woman: You must tell me the truth and no more secrets Man: I got you this clearence so that I can tell you everythihng Woman: Great But I'm not going to tell you everything because. . . .. story Generic - We are the smartest people so we are allowed to be rude and not bother with any rules or decency because the stakes or so high . . . . . cause. . .story Rocket River
I was out after the first episode of Salvation. The meteor is a plot device. The Strain is dumber than ever and I kinda like it that way.
I don't think this show will make it. Agreed on both. Strain means it strains credulity but it can be fun Salvation is rushing the story Dude falls in love .. . ONCE IN A LIFE TIME LOVE in about 2 days Straight Arrow Gov Worker woman goes from straight arrow to atomic blonde in a week Billionaire is the smartest guy in the and gets everything he wants by hook or by crook and everyone trusts him because. . .well he is a billionaire Rocket River
I like it but it ain't THE FLASH or THE ARROW It moves slower and has to fill in alot of background The world building etc takes a few episodes. Rocket River
Am i the only one lost on The Strain. I viewed it in alternate site so maybe the beginning was missing. But how did they end up in Nazi vampireville? And how are the vampire things not attacking people? I did see all of last season. I HHHHHAAATE YOU....explosion.
The nuclear explosion clouded the sky in a yellowish brown mist....so the sensitive strigoi creatures can roam free without being burned by sun light.
I think there is some kind of truce where the remaining Humans give blood for the vampires in exchange for safety and rations.. I don't know.. it's really dumb..
As I watch Killjoys . . . I am thinking it is more BAD ACTING and BAD WRITING but the storyline is getting better but The Lead Actress is cute but not very good Wynona Earp - I think its biggest draw is lesbians kissing action than anything else The story line and action need improve. Lesbian kissing will only take you so far SyFy need to figure out homosexuality is not EDGY any more . . . it's the new normal Killjoys and Wynona Earp seems to work hard to put those scenes in to 'shock' or 'titilate' the audience Rocket River
I have not watched tonite's episode but I agree Humanity seems to have accepted the seemingly savage StraGoy far too easily I mean alot of them still on chains for goodness sakes. I would expect more of a resistence Rocket River
moved this to the 2017 thread.. I agree. I'm still watching because of Loyalty and because I still genuinely like all the characters on the show. The plots are just kind of boring now. Instead of serializing the characters lives and keeping the cases "case of the week" they started to serialize the cases for full seasons and then everything started to get muddled. I'm fine with the serialized cases but they almost completely ignore character development now. They try to put in some bullshit story line to trick us into thinking the characters are growing like Harvey's anxiety, Donna's crap startup "Donna operating system" thing, or Luis' baby mamma drama, but it's all dumb.. so dumb.. When Mike finally got caught lying about being a lawyer there should have been some real world consequences. He essentially ruined or almost ruined everyone's life and everybody seems to be ok with it. Mike got away scot-free and the writers had to do some serious ass-pulling to do it. I don't like that at all. The show should have ended with Mike going to prison OR there should have been a time skip without the audience knowing what happened to the cast in the time frame Mike was locked up. They can fill in the gaps with flash backs. I have a lot of opinions about this show, from the way they completely changed Rachel's character from Jessica-lite to what she is now, to the absurd way they try to hit their "sh*t" quota in every episode..
Thanks for moving it. Your last comment says it all. They could have created a dramatic and unforgettable series finale. Instead, Mike getting out of prison and becoming a full-fledged lawyer was Suits "jump the shark moment". It's now playing out the string by going soapy. Regardless of what has happened, I'll never forget the Harvey Specter character from early seasons.
