i can't believe it's taking me this long to put that toolbag on ignore. I don't care if some nerd wants to hide behind his computer and have this make believe alter ego, but this isn't the time or place.

In the future people should do a careful cost benefit analysis before moving to Houston. Floods like this drastically change how desirable this city is to live in. There are some parts to the city in the south that shouldn't even be inhabited anymore.

    Exactly, my point.

Instead of donating $2million straight up, he is using social status and fame to get people (many of whom are on min wage and struggling financially) to donate. What you don't understand is that his fans are really dumb and will go into severe debt and mismanage their finances to donate to the cause and then he can match?

Doesn't make too much sense. He is basically using the poor to shift their already depleting incomes to a cause which otherwise they could not afford.

Anyway I am done. Keep donating to the Fatt fund

Just don't come to me with your gofundme account when you run out of your emergency savings.

While HEB and Kroger are madhouses, good ol' Foodarama is relatively empty.

I dunno about that, I think if you build your house the right way and you take these kinds of things seriously and prepare properly then it's no big deal.
That said, I can't imagine people building homes on the ground in those kinds of areas, that's just nuts.

Not necessarily untrue but is this really the time or place? Cringe worthy at best.

Yeah what's the deal with that Olsteen dude? Another example of not helping the city from the heart. He was basically forced to open up Lakewood.

I agree, usually there's more to the story than first reported.

You seem to know better than those donating what they can and can not afford. I am a cynic myself but I am of the opinion that the money is still helping people, irrespective of whatever the celebrities' intentions are. Much like the Kardashians donations, this will help lots of people.

I added the L because he keeps taking them.

And I'm agnostic and don't care.

Watt's desire for the public to love him is as Strong as Harden desire to shove singles down stripper's thong
