Not once was Kobe mentioned when analyzing my team. Wth. And you guys mention pop with Duncan to break the tie. What about Kobe and Pippen under Phil Jackson. And finally my entire starting lineup are way above average on both ends of the court.

I mentioned it...or was about... :D Horry and JMC got similar O, D dynamics with top coaches.....

I preferred Phil Jax and Pippen. Kobe is a tad of a chucker but pretty good.

I did a few pages ago, hope you maybe understand my sentiments:

    horry vs jmc:
My vote goes to jmc, Duncan vs KAT is a huge mismatch for horry and should open up holes on defense. Horry's best scorers are Kobe and Pippen, who are matched up vs. capable defenders in Wade and Prince. Gobert and Nurkic is a great C duo and should only improve jmc's paint scoring. Conley+Bryant+Pippen is wonderful on defense, but I really see jmc opting for Duncan and Gobert a lot here, which kind of negates the impact of that perimeter defense.

The bench is pretty terrible for horry, as I guess he wanted to start both Whiteside&KAT to improve his chances vs Duncan&Gobert.

So in the end, I feel like you have a great team from 1-3, but made wrong choiches when picking the PF&C rotation. You basically have no real PF and then put KAT there, who often gets lost on defense and is matched up with Duncan.
Yes, Kobe and Pippen is a good combo, but you had bad luck by being matched up against Wade&Prince. Both of these guys wouldn't get destroyed and are more than capable of holding their own, so the only real mismatch in this whole series is Duncan vs KAT, but it's unfortunately a really big issue for your team. You also have no capable bigs off the bench, him sending Nurkic out would cause additional issues for you.

Yung T with fantastic analysis. Also I told Horry to trade for a backup center and he told me to go eff myself.

I view Tayshaun a tier below Pippen offensively. Bulls Pippen did not quit, was top 20 alltime while Prince was above average.

Wade is shorter than Kobe by not just a tad. Kobe will have his way if it is 25 yr old KB.

DWade has to take more high difficulty circus shots than usual, can't make em all.

Whiteside is underrated. Dude is a pretty good def. specialist while Kat scores.

I am ok with JMC winning this but Horry got more than a chance.

Guys, bench players are boosts for the game, you cannot treat them like starters as they are playing 15 to 20 min. Maximum.

Therefore small ball is a viable option.

But really The magic and the devin booker picks were amazing. I like Mchale as a player idk if I like him with a Magic ran offense. Mchale would be on a slower paced halfcourt team where as Magic and the show time lakers would play fast paced full court blitz.

The 80s Celtics and Lakers had very little differences in PPG, FGA etc actually, it's wrong to say that the Celtics were a halfcourt team. They were hovering around the 110ppg mark for most of their seasons and pushed for fastbreaks, the 86 Celtics even averaged 114ppg.

You need a whole team for that. It's what he meant............Dennis Johnson, Danny Ainge, Bird, McHale, Parish, Reggie Lewis........those guys.

Take them out of their environment, they need time to adjust.... maybe they would be better but that is not a given.

The team is greater than 1 individual unless the 1 individual was the team.

Stop treating McHale as a No 1 on a great team, he would be No1 on a good or above average team.....

Hakeem was No 1 heart and soul of the Rox, Jerry West was No 1 mostly during his era, Giannis is No 1 of a young Bucks team......

Not only do I have phenomenal athletes, I got several No1s and couple of Captains on my team........ leaders.

Leaders in backcourt and leaders in front court....Bradley Beal is going to be a leader in near future IMO.

That's not at all what he meant, read his post again. That team is completely built on fast pace (Magic, Booker, Hayward, McHale, Nene), but jmc thought McHale wouldn't fit that approach and tried to argue that the Celtics played a slow pace back then, which isn't true.

Plus I don't get why you still attacking me, I've on multiple occasions said that I voted for you and think you'd win.

Absolutely no need to even mention your team in this debate I'm having with jmc.

I am not attacking you..... it was you who said you liked heated arguments. rofl

It was about McHale and you and Donatas who valued him more than I do or other guys.......

It may come off aggressive but that is how I roll...... I dun care about winning because let's be honest everyone got opinions, I dun understand every reasoning of you, Donatas, FTW, other brehs either.
    That is normal.

Judging players Alltime and with players of the modern era together is silly IMO.

This is not the D&D, as you know perhaps I shy away from the D and D section.

I dun mind having discussions about imaginary lineups and about how they fit, but if you think my tantrums are real, I can assure you this is not the case......

As I said I won't be taking part in every Draft, therefore I think going a tad overboard in aggression is allowed! o_O

But there is absolutely no point to your argument, when I've even said I like your team better.

I'm simply stating that jmc's thoughts on the 80s Celtics pace were wrong, but you somehow started being offended and mentioned how your team has more talent and leaders.
