Not a breh but I thought it was a people's choice..... you knew him as a player......he got history, always liked in Germany and while he played for Juve. Me can't predict how he will do things behind curtains, but it's a good start. One of the nicest players I can admit as a non Bayern.
Many people think they just installed a popular former player to please the fans, don't think he will have too much actual power over Rummenigge and Hoeneß. He also doesn't have any experience in football management or coaching. That said, he seems like a great guy that fully identifies with the club and maybe he can grow into the role. Also speaks several languages and should have a good connection with players, so maybe he'll be able to communicate things better between the team and front office.
Neymar will apparently be presented as new Qatar Sports Investment ambassador and receive 300mil. In return, he'll use 220m out of this to personally pay Barca's buyout clause. This ridiculous conduct really shows how big of a joke UEFA's Financial Fair Play is, clubs are openly toying with these regulations.
Why would Qatar A watch Neymar go to Paris? Unless they are also financially involved in PSG..... lelz Mysterious Sponsor unveiled I guess! Again Neymar is going back to his Santos days where he was the focal point.... and then he went to join MSN...... I am not sure he wants to win big.
Brazzo is a nice guy. He also has zero qualifications for the job, which is exactly what Hoeneß wants. He wants someone who is an informer for him and someone who does what he says, and who can never become dangerous to his position. It's what weak leaders do. They hire B people, because all they care about is clinging on to power.
Real just extended the deadline for PSG's Jese payment, actively helping them recruit Neymar. Awesome rivalry.
Thought that was interesting, reports say Neymar Jr. had his mind made up after the 6-1 win Barca against PSG in the CL. Media praised Messi instead of Neymar...who was instrumental as well. And he was on the brink of saying yes to PSG last year.....changed his mind in an instant and signed an extension. He was in Shanghai for commercial purposes and will be flying directly to Qatar where he will meet with PSG owner, doing a medical.
Liverpool just slapped Bayern 0:3, I guess @Jontro will celebrate the CL title and start of a new dynasty soon.
Neymar just said goodbye to his Barca teammates and didn't participate in training, transfer will likely be made official today.
Not really upset about Neymar leaving. I saw it coming for at least 2 years and TBH I think Barca will be better off without some of the headaches.
Wait... so why is Neymar leaving?! I thought they had a solid big 3 with messi, sanchez and neymar himself?! I'm honestly devastated by this. Watching Barca games won't be the same without Neymar these days.
Top 3 reasons Barcelona media and surrounding treat Messi as God (deservedly) no room for recognition (at least in Neymar's mind) Not enough Brazilians in the locker room - Rafinha is supposed to leave, and currently there is only 1 or 2 Brazilians on the team's payroll whereas 40% of PSG is Brazilian incl. Thiago Silva the Captain. Brand awareness (Barcelona - Messi brand) Grow his own brand somewhere else - make even more shitload of cash That is what they said at least. Neymar like a lot of South Americans and Africans listens to his manager, his clan and his following way too much. Personally I still question his motives and I cannot comprehend it at all. I think you go 0-4 against PSG and come back 6-1 and then you join them....... It's like Kobe joined the Rockets instead of Artest joining the Lakers.
Neymar has agreed a 5-year deal with PSG worth £450m, earning £515,000-a-week after tax. (Source: SkySports) 502m Euro
