Expecting Renato to need more time to 'develop' a consistent game.

Same, but several outlets and sources saying he's acting like a jerk off the pitch as well, coming too late to meetings, practice, not attending language courses etc.

Breh needs to do a 180.

It was all an elaborate one-year ruse to win the fantasy league.

Agreed to an extent. That keeper had a terrible game today, but the first and last were great goals. Hard to get a read on them. They're obviously legit, but how will they do when they're tested? Should be an interesting PL season.

Should be a less interesting Manchester season. Either United or City ....so it seems.

Chelsea is just behind but I feel they miss something or someone, or just a stronger Eden Hazard.

    Spurs are playing complicated ball.

The real drama hasn't even started. The top 6 are probably obvious by now, but the order is a tossup.

Sure. Nothing is etched in stone but Guordiola and Mourinho are scary when their squad's offense is working. Very scary barring major injuries but futball clubs have their 20 - 30 men squads.

Klopp might get there but the Defense isn't good enough IMO. I won't be talking about Arsenal......

Pep is probably one of the best coaches you can think of when going up against weaker teams, real test comes in CL matches vs opponents with the same quality level.
His high-pressure system is a great weapon vs teams that don't have the quality to punish the high defensive line, but it's a great risk vs CL competition.

Good point and it might still be sufficient for the league title.

There was this game against Bournemouth (weaker opp) when City wasn't really good and that caused some worry.

Guys like Bernardo Silva and Gündogan are not in the mix but have proven they are more than solid.

And they got guys like Foden and Diaz, young and upcoming bench warmers.

Yea he's finally allowed to open the piggy bank, something Bayern didn't want. Man City will be dangerous if he stays for a few years, although I still see Real and Bayern above them for the next 1-2 years at least.

Would be interesting to see if Bayern could dominate or be at least make Top 2 consistently in the PremierLeague year in year out with this roster......

Pretty sure, we always dominated them in Euro competition. EPL generally has done pretty bad in Euro competitions these last few years, pretty overrated league.

Btw, Tianjin boss today opened up about the Aubameyang saga and revealed that Tianjin already had an agreement with BVB&Auba, but then Chinese league implemented this 100% tax regulation and killed the transfer.

Me thinks it is still one of the best leagues in term of watchability. If not the best.

I watched tons of RAN and German league in the past but there is always drama on the court in the Premier league....mostly. And tons of goals if you know where to watch.

And best fantasy game so far.

Good overall package for the average fan, probably not the knowing strategists.
