I guess Zidane felt he could only lose from that point on. Barca is the more consistent team and will continue to dominate La Liga, maybe he also knows more details about Ronaldo's desire to leave and that means they are out of the Champions League race. He had a great run, can't think of a top coach available at this moment, so I guess they'll check within their league who could be a fit.

I think two teams will be pushing hard for him. France/Juventus FC.

I won't be surprised if he just rest for 1 or 2 years.

    Gracias. Zizou.

The legend walks away on a high note!

Clearly, he was pushed out because Perez does not want to miss out on Wenger.

Once in a 22 year chance.

Crazy that he's walking away. Not that he hasn't basically done it all as a player and a coach. If he never steps on the field again in any capacity, he's still one of the greatest of all time.

Can he come to Manchester United, please?

Christian Falk confirming rumors about Thiago wanting to leave hmm.

Also says there's been a meeting between Uli, Rummenigge and Kovac which resulted in a list of players they would sell: Boateng, Bernat, Thiago, Vidal.

I'd like it, our bosses need to be forced to overhaul the roster.

PS: Falk saying we still don't want to let Lewandowski go and his agent did that public statement as a last resort after several talks with Bayern bosses didn't result in the greenlight for a transfer.

All four of them have been out multiple times for longer terms in the last two seasons, so it's not completely surprising to at least question their status - other than Boateng. He's too good to just send away, even for big money. I'd still be confident about our defense with Hummels and Süle in the middle, but you just don't give up talent on that level. Other than that I think losing Vidal would hurt the most. He's a gladiator everybody would like to have, but since he's injured all the time, just turned 31 and seems to be unwilling to quit his national team duties, it's just a matter of time until he declines big time. If we can collect big money for him and the other two, so be it. Just don't want our roster to be trimmed. If Bernat leaves, we definitely need another wing defender, can't count on Rafinha especially in big games.

New blood would be welcomed - it seems like Rafinha has been with Bayern for a very long time.

Extended his contract this month, so will stay. He's a good breh, keeps up the team spirit and rarely b****es about playing time.

Just has some unfortunate mistakes in big games. :(

Was an absolute masterful move by Zizou. Timed it right so when Deschamps effs things up for France this summer, the job becomes available and he moves to the only other job he said he'd take. (Although Juve def makes sense)
Perez never had a manager leave before he sacked them and now Zizou shows him how it feels. (On the other hand maybe in some cases those managers didn't want to leave but would prefer to be sacked so they get all or some of the monies owed to them on the rest of their contract)

It's easier to win Italian league as Juve is the best team for the next years but winning the Finals or getting to the WC Finals with France is special.

Fekir in England to finalize the Liverpool deal, medical in next few days.
Would've liked to see him at Bayern, but oh well...

Sanches loan to Benfica nearly official.
Guess Bayern thinks bringing him back home will give him the most confidence, otherwise they would've surely aimed for a Bundesliga club.

Damn... so Ramos took out Salah and hurt Karius.

Doctors at Massachusetts general Hospital in Boston, (20 minutes from my place!), diagnosed Karius and concluded that he was suffering from concussion when he made the blunders.

Obviously it was because of the elbow he took from Ramos.

Ramos took out Liverpool's best striker and the GK en route to lifting a CL trophy.

    The Draymond Green of football.
