Buddy Hield should be a consensus #1 pick. One of the quickest/smoothest stepbacks I have seen in awhile and his deep balls are money. I'm still not buying Ben Simmons is going to somehow develop a serviceable jump shot. I mean it is not an exaggeration when you say that Ben Simmons jump shot game is nonexistent.

It looked like Oklahoma was a step behind Villanova all night. Almost like they weren't warmed up physically or mentally from the opening tip. Add to that a 50% difference in shooting percentage and it's locked up with almost 9 minutes to go. Game seems to big for Oklahoma. And true or not, Villanova just looks quicker, sharper, more ready to play. The glare on the court seems to have been dialed down. But that was horrendous early on. Camera angle is low and often too tight, but getting used to it. I do like the floor angle at times but they don't stick with it long. Looking forward to the next game, Syracuse and North Carolina.
I know this Syracuse 2-3 is like impenetrable, but it seems obvious that the baseline is the weakness as the zone pushes up on the three and the lane.
Am really sad they opted for this stupid white court. Ugh. It's even confusing when the "home" team runs through -- never mind the lighting problems.
Should be a good game, but gut tells me that North Carolina will be all over Villanova, playing step for step on dribble drive, and cutting off all the passes Nova got today. Size and length will be tough for Nova in spite of their solid execution and shooting.
If Nova shoots like they did today, they can't lose. The chances of a repeat performance is highly unlikely though, so I think UNC takes the crown.
lol on the broadcast, they just showed a Ty Lawson tweet and said 'he plays right here for the Rockets'.
