There have been quite a bit of those lately. Bazemore, D. Carroll, , E.Moore... lots of guys getting paid who were once barely holding onto one of the last roster spots on their teams. Hell, Carroll and Moore were both Rockets for a short period. Throw-ins in trades that were quickly cut.
Good deal for both Lin and the Nets. He's what? 27 years old? He'll still be in his prime when he opts out in 2 years and get another nice contract.
I heard the Nets don't even have a PG on the roster right now, they let Jarret Jack go yesterday. Watch they also sign Rondo now that they secured Lin and have Rondo be the starting PG lol.

That's hilarious! It's so obvious, but you were the 1st to pounce. I agree that it's a good land for bball & marketing reasons. However, I wonder about the 3 instead of 2 year deal with PO in last year
Knicks/Nets games bout to be must watch now! Melo/Lin battle for NYC! Winner would probably be Prozingis

I'm not much of a Lin fan, but watch Lin be the better PG versus Rose every time the Knicks play the Nets next year.
Lol loser who lost all his money in the oil crash. Here's a tip, don't look for investing advice on a basketball forum Now go back to your pathetic life in your menial 9-5 job
