So looks like Mikhititrayayan and Zlatan are pretty much done deals. I'd say we still need a strong central midfielder and another seasoned centre back because Eric Ballsy is a project.
I think Schneiderlin needs to be given a fair crack at first team chances. LVG kept rotating him in and out of the squad, which is why I think his first season with us was so underwhelming. Agree with a CB though. Varane, I heard, was rumored to leave. He's my first choice if there's a chance to get him. The squad is too unbalanced as constructed. There's too many people on certain areas of the pitch and not enough for others. RW, I think will need to be sorted out. Putting myself in Mourinho's shoe and playing around with line-ups. Lots of players to choose from. -----------------De Gea----------------- Valencia----Smalling----Blind(??)----Shaw -----Schneiderlin-----Schweinsteiger----- Rashford(??)----Mkhitaryan-----Martial -----------------------Zlatan--------------- Subs: Romero, Darmian, Bailly, Carrick, Rooney, Lingard, Herrera
Heard good stuff about Umtiti. Will he be thrown into the starting XI from the get go? According to the English papers and a bunch of stalkers, Mkhitaryan just got into Manchester to finalize his deal. Pogba. Do any of y'all think he will be moving clubs this summer? L'Equipe has been pretty adamant that he wants to go back to Manchester. Dunno how reliable they are.
Croatia's Corluka close to signing a deal with Bayern, according to his agent. Transfer will apparently be made official next week. Good backup if you ask me.
Benatia to Juve will be made official today. Apparently one year loan and Juve then have to buy him for 18mil (some say just a buying option though, so we'll see).
Apparently Bayern and United are both chasing Matuidi. A much more realistic target than someone like Pogba, who seems adamant on going to Real Madrid of Barcelona.
I'll believe it when I see Pogba sign the dotted line at Carrington. I can't believe this rumor is picking up steam.
