Nothing wrong with enjoying the moment. It was more in response to the person who quoted me from last year as if to prove something.

Enjoying the moment is one thing, but we all know how manic depressive this board is. Most aren't "enjoying" the moment. Most believe without a doubt we have a legit shot at winning it all when this time last season most believed life was over. I think were going to struggle to even get out of the 2nd round, but you would believe were just an Omri Casspi away from a sure shot Finals appearance.

Just because I don't believe in MDA system and Harden as the lone ball dominant leader of the team(Has anyone ever won a ring playing like that?) doesn't mean I don't cheer for the team. Of course anything can happen. You still have to play b/c as Love and Durant and Aldridge proved, we are an injury away from being legit championship contenders(those injuries just came a bit too early). But, those other teams are still contenders even with injuries. Our man goes down and were dead.

Maybe today's NBA is like the pass heavy NFL where offense wins. Maybe I am still stuck in my depression from last season. Maybe we don't need another all star and we don't need no stinking defense. History still shows most of the past champs were top 10 in both offense and defense. Hell, I think even the ShowTime Lakers were which is easy when you have one of the GOAT all around Centers and one of the best lockdown wing defenders in Cooper and tons of former all star vets. What do we have? Patrick Beverley? A hustle guy who is more of a nagging defender rather than a lockdown guy. Ariza? Is he even considered a good defender anymore? Capela? Even if you find a team that wasn't a top offense, they usually had a top 3 D.

I hope we can shock the world. I hope Harden uses extra hold gel on his beard and shoves it up my ass. If he wins, it'll be absolutely legendary and be right there with Hakeem, Rick Barry, Bill Walton as the championship leaders of the least help/talent on their team. They each had a former all star on their team though. Does Harden even have that?

BTW I keep saying 2nd round, but if we get OKC in the first round, an embarrassing scenario where we lose is very, very possible.

so you're saying we need multiple stars like gsw, spurs, cavs, bos, clips, etc?

so you should be praising MDA and harden for making it work without multiple stars and not putting them down right?

We have jumped out to big leads in every game we have played OKC. I wouldn't be worried about them. I think Lou Williams is enough for us to hang on to those leads.

Seems too worried about losing and/or james harden possibly leaving in the future.

That mindset is gonna prevent him from enjoying this moment. Harden is here and he has clearly displayed that he trusts dantoni/morey and is committed to the rockets for now.

We are trending upwards. Whats not to like? Im having a lot of fun following this team.

I agree that its good to keep murphy's law in the back of your head, but no one should let it stop them from appreciating this moment for what it is.

After watching this team for 68 games, how can anybody NOT be a believer in MDA and Harden? That's crazy.
