we gave up a 7th round pick that could be a 6th round depending on number of snaps mallet play. the 6th could be the pick we received for schaub. so in a sense it could be schaub for mallet. now if you were to argue bob wanted mallet the whole time and thus clouded his thinking for drafting a QB in the draft that wasn't so much of a raw project then I could see your point of validation.

 

I think it's neutral unless BOB falls in love with him like Kubiak fell in love with Schaub. Hopefully we'll never have to see Mallett play. I don't really see a possibility where Mallett would be even a decent QB, he certainly hasn't ever looked that way since college.

they claimed that CB from 49ers.

 

And they also prob claimed Patterson. We just haven't heard if they waived Victorian or Mack or Hal or any combination, yet.

 

And Clemens is is a safety. So now they're a safety short. Major Wright would make sense

 

I was thinking they could still potentially sign Manning back.

I guess we might be keeping 6 CBs and only 4 safeties. We need better safety depth, would like us to try and make a move to improve it (whether it be a claim or a trade).

 

Do you think we'd hear about a waiver claim made over 4 and a half hours after the deadline? I'm hoping for more

DJ, lewis, keo and pleasant. yes you are right not a lot of depth with the safeties.
