Dragic and Jefferson both make all-nba but not the all star game.

They aren't the first to do it. But two in the same year, that's probably a record.

Curry should have been a First Team Selection

When was the last time the Rockets had two players selected to first and second all-NBA teams?

Basketball twitter seems pretty mad about Harden over Curry

Never. Yao and McGrady made second and third teams together in back-to-back years. Hakeem and Clyde were on a third team together. No other pair of Rockets have been named to teams in the same year.

Maybe I'm an idiot with a lifetime achievement award mentality, but no Duncan bugs me a little. Granted he sure wasn't putting up the volume stats that Jefferson and Aldridge were, but he's doing his thing on a real contender. And Duncan beats them both in TS%, rebound rate, and defensive rating/block rate, and isn't that pretty much the three things you want out of your big man?

But he played 29 MPG, so I'll shut up I guess.

Jefferson deserved it. He turned that franchise around and made the playoffs (even in the East). He was a beast.

LMA - no questions asked there.

Spurs are deep. I'm sure they will still get a top 4 seed if Duncan sat out half a season. Hell, the Spurs won 2 playoff games with literally no Tony Parker.

    I think Melo got snubbed.

He probably had his best season ever, and more or less behaved during the nightmare of a Knicks season. But it's hard to replace any of those guys... Maybe Lillard? Bias aside, because I think Lillard is a great player but he is getting the star treatment by the NBA so hard! He is the newest star project for the NBA without a doubt.

Harden is by far, the most hated nba player right now IMO.

LOL the Harden butthurt will be immense

It's okay though because both Curry and Harden are nominees for all defensive team somehow

No Melo, no Westbrook. I'm surprised and happy that Dragic was named All-NBA, absolutely loved rooting for him when he was a Rocket (why Morey, whyyyy)

The things is, I feel like Duncan (or any of the Spurs 'Bog 3') could put up an impressive stat line if they really wanted to. But they are very unselfish, and play so few minutes.

The thing I hate about this All NBA team is that the SPURS big 3 never gets recognized even though they are all arguable to be at least equal or better than most of these players sans LBJ and Durant.

As much as I love seeing how butthurt people get over James Harden and his game, I also do hope Harden turns his reputation around soon.

This list is wrong on so many levels.

    1. Noah over Howard, he isn't even a top 20 player
    2. No Melo
    3. Duncan should be on the 3rd team
    4. George on the 3rd team is crazy he had a great season
    5. Lillard? Dragic? Westbrook, Lowry, Wall and Conley all had great years and were just as deserving as these two. I get WB being hurt but what did those two do that these four didn't

Next year when Lin breaks free from the shackles of Houston and McHale he will make 2nd team at worst.

Easy call on Westbrook. He missed 36 games this year.
