Remember Rahim Moore of the Broncos against the Ravens? I think Clinton-Dix misjudged the ball as going longer than it did and he started drifting further into the end zone. He reacted a split-second later but could not change direction fast enough.

Everyone knows the flip of a coin is a 50-50 proposition.

    Only it's not.

    You can beat the odds.

So says a three-person team of Stanford and UC-Santa Cruz researchers. They produced a provocative study that turns conventional wisdom, well, on its head for anyone who has ever settled a minor dispute with a simple coin toss.

It also could have profound implications in America's favorite sport — pro football — because the coin flip plays an integral role in deciding games that go into overtime.

But first, here's what the researchers concluded: Using a high-speed camera that photographed people flipping coins, the three researchers determined that a coin is more likely to land facing the same side on which it started. If tails is facing up when the coin is perched on your thumb, it is more likely to land tails up.

How much more likely? At least 51 percent of the time, the researchers claim, and possibly as much as 55 percent to 60 percent — depending on the flipping motion of the individual.

What I don't get is why they were playing that way so early in the 4th. There was a ton of time left for Seattle to come back given the timeout situation. The sliding after the interception might be the most inexcusable play. The botched onside kick recovery and 2-point conversion defense were bad, but honest screwups. The slide was tantamount to acting like the game was over and it definitely wasn't even at that point.

people forget he has over 800 yards rushing this year while posting a 100 passer rating... the kid is a playmaker... and is what vick could have been if he took his career serious

Right. Vick probably wishes he had half the success Wilson has already enjoyed in his short career so far.

That two point conversion play was just ridiculous. Plenty of time for the defender to make a play on a lofted ball and just didn't do it. Not sure if he didn't see it or what but was in position to make a play. Inexcusable.

Aaron Rodgers with another post season chock job.

Rodgers hasn't won a super bowl since he had a dominant defense that was ranked top 1-2 in the NFL with Pittsburgh. Is this his 1st time in the NFC championship since Green Bay went to the super bowl...?

They played so conservative. They kicked a field goal at the one twice.

Can the Texans emulate what Seattle has built?
