I blame Boswell on the 2nd goal. He should've kicked that ball away or out of play. The Dynamo just need an away goal to get back their momentum. If they score some road goals and lose by a 1-goal margin (1-2, 2-3, 3-4, etc.), they will advance.
The hill just got steeper. Santos finds the net again and has taken a 3-0 lead in this leg (3-1 aggregate).
I don't understand why Dominic Kinnear started Warren Creavalle over Corey Ashe. Creavalle was the one to be blamed for that penalty kick
I hope CONCACAF can change the setup of the Champions League tournament. Just by having the group stages/first round in the Spring season and the Quarterfinals/Semifinals/Finals in the Fall season. But this will not happen sooner than later in the future.
I haven't heard any official reason, but he may have just wanted to get Creavalle some time or give Ashe some time off. Dom is on the record saying that he values the MLS season over anything else. The guys over at MLS Extra Time Radio have spoken to him about it and I'm sure they were paraphrasing, but their impression was that he wasn't going to risk the MLS season by putting it all on the line in CCL. Again, there might not be a correlation for tonight's match, but it bears mentioning.
Ashe was sick. Santos is too good to keep making mistakes and think you can win. We got lucky a couple of times last week but they punished us for the mistakes last nigh.
I know I'll be committing sacrilege, but I was hoping we had beat the SANTOs on POPE declaration day. Still mad to say we haven't beat any Mexican team in Mexico. As a goalkeeper, I'd be freaking MAD at what Boswell did for losing the second goal... in any case where you don't know if your keeper will come out to challenge or he will stay home to wait for you to defend, you let either the man, the ball, pass through, but NEVER BOTH. F*C* Dallas. I hope we tear a new one... I wanna go with the Texian Army so bad...
It took Dallas a handball goal to beat us. This is like 2005 Rockets-Mavericks playoff series Game 5 all over again.
The season is still early but the Dynamo have not scored a goal in the first 80 minutes, all the goals they scored are in the last 10 minutes. I'm a little concerned about that. The curse away from home continues. The Dynamo can't rely on winning only at home. If they want to host The MLS Cup Final, they have to get more wins and draws on the road.
