If it's four minimum, maybe it means the entire first team could play? Meh. Let them get their off-season looks... potential trades for better picks, trades with other teams, etc.
The Dynamo have their 2014 MLS schedule released. They have 10 games on National TV (ESPN2, NBC Sports Network, and UniMas). The rest will be on CSN, which will carry most games, and KPRC Channel 2. The Dynamo will also have a 3-week break in June due to the FIFA World Cup. http://www.dynamotheory.com/2013/11/25/5144996/2014-league-schedule-released http://www.houstondynamo.com/schedule?month=all&year=2014&competition_type=all&broadcast_type=all&op=Search&form_id=mls_schedule_form
Yep I remember the Ibeagha situation. I highly doubt he signs with the Dynamo. I think he definitely gets Euro offers. If he signs HG with the Dynamo I'd be shocked but hey, it would benefit the Dynamo greatly. He would instantly be the 3rd CB with Taylor and Boswell and probably leaps over one of them by the end of next season. I still think he and his agents go with a European offer for him. Ah it shouldn't be too bad hopefully. Maybe it works out for the Dynamo like Orlando worked for Sporting KC and Dom Dwyer this season. Guess the ones left who aren't playing with the 1st team regularly will make do w/reserve matches. Gotta imagine though that it'd be mainly young 1st team players being sent to PGH on loan while the experienced bench players stay behind and play reserve matches if they don't get any 1st team match action. We'll see how it plays out next season, hopefully the partnership will work out.
Once you become affiliated with a USL team you no longer participate in the reserve league. I guess they could set up scrimmages against the better local teams (HBU, Dutch Lions, maybe the academy team) but that's about it.

Not sure where to post this, but it is semi Dynamo-related! <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Couldn't be happier. <a href="https://twitter.com/search?q=%23lifeisgood&src=hash">#lifeisgood</a> <a href="http://t.co/CQmDiGkvXm">pic.twitter.com/CQmDiGkvXm</a></p>— Alex Morgan (@alexmorgan13) <a href="https://twitter.com/alexmorgan13/statuses/410197299906621440">December 10, 2013</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> Congrats to Alex and Servando!
Great point. Completely forgot about that. Yeah I guess the veterans that remain on the bench and aren't getting much 1st team action will have to make do with local scrimmages. That doesn't sound too good actually.
Good timing. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Breaking: <a href="https://twitter.com/search?q=%23NWSL&src=hash">#NWSL</a> owners today approved Houston as an 2014 expansion club. Re. Landy playing in goal. A lot of goals will be scored while he is in goal. Good for the fans I guess.

I think Bobby ran his course here, they needed help at center back in the playoffs and I'd rather replace Boswell than Taylor. I'd like to see what creavalle could do back there

That was a great game to go to. Everybody was out there having fun and getting to be a part of honoring a great player was special.
