    USA USA USA

It is such a joy to watch Landon have players on his level OFF the ball that are moving and thinking - he has been so far ahead of most players until these last couple of years.

I really like the way we went for it, instead of packing it in and protecting the lead.

Should've been more. When it was 2-0, they started to get kind of lazy with the ball. Donovan could've easily had 3 but he botched some easy ones. That said, it was what ended up being a dominating performance. El Salvador, though, is a team ill be more concerned with in the next WC cycle. They have some good young players.

How about f***ing Eddie Johnson? Jogs on the field as a sub and right into a goal. That was pretty cool.

    A heads up:

    Honduras 1 Costa Rica 0
Honduras have advanced to the semifinals and will face the United States in Dallas.

The other matchup is México vs. Panamá.

Interesting. Honduras will be tough, but I fully expect another big win.

The Concacaf site says July 24, 6 PM for the USA-Honduras games and 9 PM for the Mexico-Panama game.

I'm definitely going to try to get some tickets, haven't been to a Mexico game in a while

Disagree. I know there's a significant number of Hondurans in Htown and Dallas (not exactly DC/NY areas) but I think it will be fairly balanced. Regardless neiither will matter because Mexico will be playing the second match and that stadium will be GREEN!

 LOL @ Landon Donovan doing a "DEAL WITH IT  " on the corner after people tossed shades among the trash.

I will see you there if you go.

My goodness, was the USA rolling! I expected more from the Salvadoreños, but their defense couldn't stop the onslaught. I thought Zelaya would score a lot more than that.

    Game on!

Time to send Hondo home and setup a Mexico matchup in the final.

I think it will be Panama.

Going to have to watch via DVR later tonight. Can't miss Blues on the Green today...The Gourds are playing.

[EDIT:] I sincerely hope that Klinsmann doesn't screw with the lineup too much tonight. I wouldn't mind seeing EJ in there instead of Wondo...but I would completely disagree with starting Omar Gonzalez over Goodson. Clarence has played very well in this tournament and has earned the right to continue starting through the end. If he's faltering or not able to keep up with the pace of Honduras, by all means sub Gonzo in.

 It hasn't even started, man.

I will say it will be 3-2 for the estadounidenses. Much better handle and control of the game than Honduras.

In the second game, I think it ends up tied and México wins in kicks from the penalty spot.

EDIT: I wonder if Damarcus Beasley introduces his teammates during the ceremonies to the Spanish-speaking officials in Spanish or in English... since he lilves in Puebla, México now.
