So how many millions of dollars did Manti T'eo cost himself last night with that gator armed whiff fest?

I thought Johnny Football deserved the Heisman, but so glad they got it right after watching that. What a joke.

And sammy, yeah, SEC fans should be thanking Baylor.

Or I could watch A&M play the same style and beat Alabama, exactly as they did.

If you line up and play "SEC Football" against 'bama, you're gonna get beat. You have to spread them out. A&M (YOUR SCHOOL) did that and proved that very point.

Exactly. A contrast of styles is what makes games interesting and intriguing. It's also why Saban complains all the time about fast-paced, spread offenses.

The fast-pace spread offense is exactly why Tennessee, Arkansas, or Auburn would have hired Briles in a second.

To be fair, Yeldon is a phenom.

Lacey probably jumped into the second round after last night's performance.

Bama would hold Baylor to 10 and WVU to 13. Styles don't mean nearly as much when you're dealing with elite teams. A handful of 1st round NFL lineman, a potential top #1 NFL pick and the Heisman, that's what makes TAMU so dangerous, much more so than just their style.

Leach proved a spread style could help mediocre-to-good teams even the playing field and become dangerous. He also proved you still need talent to beat the best teams. Florida, Aurburn, they spread it out but they won it right, y'all love to use that argument right? Yeah, they also ran it, they had NFL talent on defense, they had Heisman QB's.

Styles don't mean **** against elite teams with 1 month to prepare if you don't have the talent to back it up. Notre Dame was in over their head, Bama has a far more capable offense than people admit - they just play conservatively by design.

^Terrance Williams and Seastrunk look like first round talent to me. Add a good offensive line and another superb athlete in Tevin Reese and I really doubt that Bama would hold Baylor to 10 points. Not at that pace. Not with a QB like Nick Florence who plays with heart. Golson looked like a scrub last night and his numbers this season were mediocre at best.

That move might have been more effective than it looks. He jumped too far too fast, and too strong for an arm tackle, for anyone. Thanks for the gif, I'd only heard that term with receivers.

true, but for the "best" LB in college...he is expected to make that play.

I'm pretty sure they would've held Oregon to negative points.

Well, I said it way back on the first page that ND winning against Alabama was NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. I know all of you here were collectively holding your breath about me never posting here, but rest assured, I only bet on things that are sure things.

So how much did you make in vegas?

If you took the 9.5 and bet the house on Tide you could have doubled your money easily.
