ok i've nevered heard of VEEP but it was nominated for best comedy? is it a show i should check out right now?
Have you ever seen the movie In the Loop? Same creator and general idea, we watched the first season as it played. It was very good but not perfect.
of the episodes I watched (probably about 2 or 3), I enjoyed it, but kind of found it hard to get into.
Giancarlo Esposito, "Breaking Bad" I think he deserves it. Gus was the most gangsta gangster in a long time.
Agreed. I don't watch many comedies but I feel that Modern Family has mostly settled into a consistently watchable but rarely hilarious groove. If they are really still the funniest show on tv and all those actors/actresses are still doing the best job, then there must not be many good comedies on.
Those actors wont be back next year. Not the main ones. So their story is done. Like if Twilight Zone story archs lasted a full season then moved to the next. What's up with Bob's Burgers being on there? Saw 4 minutes of that once by accident, worst show ever.
GTFO!!! Peter Dinklage's Tyrion Lannister is more gangsta. All gus does is kill gangstas. Seen that plenty of times. Tyrion b-tchslaps kings!
I watched both season and after the first few episodes I wasn't really feeling it, kind of grew on me though thought it got better.
