The Arizona Cardinals and the New Orleans Saints will kick off the preseason on Sunday August 5, in the 2012 Pro Football Hall of Fame Game. So the wait is almost over! Football is finally here again!
Right, the same team that drafted him #2 overall and has a bit of a history of horrific drafting. Those Patriots.
Eh, two high profile busts that all scouts were drooling over hardly makes a team a perrenial draft failure. Huff, McFadden are pro bowl caliber and Heyward-Bey looks like a very solid player, much to my surprise. He was awful as a rookie.

Yeah, I remember the general consensus on Gallery was he was probably the safest pick out there. That was back during the era when the Texans would have given anything for even a halfway decent left tackle (I think we were even still delusional that Tony Boselli might come back and be healthy), so I was hoping the Texans would trade up to get Gallery. Instead they stayed put and drafted Pay Me Rick.
I'll just point out that the Patriots actually do have a pretty bad draft record under Belicheck. His work in the draft is incredibly overrated.
Looks like bruised ribs for Kolb. Whisenhunt said their OL played like dookie in the 1st quarter but got better as the game went on. Poor Kevin. Hopefully this doesn't haunt him into the regular season.
Yeah the Patriots are always praised for trading down and trading up, but their defense has been filled with gaping holes for a while now, and now their offensive line is deteriorating.
