This statement is the only thing that matters. Bama lost to LSU in overtime while missing FOUR field goals AND having an insane interception on the goal line. Bama is the best team, they have the best defense hands down, and they would have dominated oregon, okst, stanford just the same was as they did LSU. I won a pretty penny on this game with my sportsbook. I saw it coming a mile a way.

Georgia Southern is not a good defensive team.

Since I was at the game I haven't had time to really read through all the comments so far in this thread but so far most of them are just upsetting. (I'm not directing this too three posters but most of the people on this board)

"Oklahoma State is better than both teams"

    "Bama knob slobbers"

    "Neither team deserves a championship"

    "SEC is overrated"

    O.K.

that the SEC just won it's 6th straight national championship

Bama is somehow "overrated" when they have 14 players projected to drafted in the NFL draft

I'm sorry that I go to Bama so apparently by rooting for my team in the national championship game I'm a "slob knob." Meanwhile, when you root for your team you're a classy fan right?

How could you get hyped up playing against Georgia Southern when it's a week before your rivalry game and your back ups play most of the game

Okie state had a good year but it wasn't good enough. At least Bama didn't lose to some team that was bowl eligible by one win. You want to complain about the OOC schedule? Well Bama schedules there out of conference games YEARS in advance. We're slated to play Michigan next year, then a home and home with Michigan State. It's not like they chose a big named football program to play while they're on there down year. Personally I'd rather see a good Defensive battle where every extra yard and first down counts unlike other games where defenses are non existent and 80 TD runs happen because linebackers can't cover a gap.

Bama's Defense this year is probably one of the best, if not the best, that college football will see for sometime. 9 touchdowns given up the WHOLE YEAR. Okie state would give up that much 2 games. Also, the fact that you let the #1 team at the time cross midfield ONCE during the championship game?

Haters are gonna hate. Be upset that your team didn't play for the national championship game. Be upset that Bama has dynasty being built in Tuscaloosa (2 championships in 3 years to go along with 3 out of 4 years about number 1 recruiting classes) Be upset that Bama has more national championships than your team.

I'm done with this rant. 'Bama opens the season in Jerry's World against Michigan and it'll end in Miami where they'll be the first team to repeat as BCS Championships and win their 15th National Championship. Roll Damn Tide.

I can't wait to see A&M get slaughtered by both teams next year. Good luck coach Sumlin.

    Word...

I think the best team won and Les should've pulled JJ. He was out of sync all night and very frustrated...

Wow...how could any self-respecting fan actually claim the 13-15 that they claim?

Bear-Bryant, is this video accurate? And congrats on your team winning by the way. Hope you had fun in NO.

As far as the game goes, I was there and it was BORING. I don't see how anyone watched the whole thing at home unless there was nothing else in your house to entartain you.

Be careful, they're about to start yelling at you, saying that an SEC team lost the title game this year.

Well, apparently the video is true. I found this:

This reminds me of a debate I had with a friend from UCLA in my FF league. He always reminded us that the Football NC is a mythical one and isn't really a NCAA title like all of the true NCAA titles that UCLA has won (I believe they have more than anyone). Kinda hard to disagree with him after seeing stuff like this.

Edit: And this goes for all schools. From what I'm reading Bama isn't the only school to bump their number.

It seems like the "14" is a myth, but it appears that every other major program does the same thing. Maybe that's why it's called the mythical NC.
