Hey guys! Leagues around Europe are starting up very soon again and I thought that there should be a thread for all Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, or anything European football related! Who do you all have winning the league title this year? IMO the biggest leagues in Europe. Premier League - Manchester United (my favourite team so biased) La Liga - Barcelona Bundesliga - Dortmund Serie A - AC Milan Ligue 1 - PSG Champions League - Manchester United Europa League - Marseille (know nothing about Europas to be honest) Happy postings and looking forward to hearing your thoughts!
Barca with a new coach and looking to bring in Drogba supposedly. Looking to add another player for the back line. I hope Villa is on his way back and Abidal stays cancer free too.
Any particular defender that has been recently linked to Barca? Do they usually play 3 in the back or was that that one time against Chelsea? I would think that a back line of Puyol Pique Mascherano was okay plus Jordi Alba was an immense signing to fill the void at LB. That guy was consistently one of Valencia's top performer in recent years and he was the only player I saw that can man mark Messi out of the game. Anyways this is what I thought Barca's back line would be Puyol Pique Mascherano or Alves Pique Mascherano Alba Alves and Mascherano is probably the weakest link there. I'm not sure how Pique's been playing as of late... I believed I heard that Drogba left for China. Is that not working out for him or something?
The second lineup is what I expect. Don't know why you don't think Dani isn't a good defender. He's scrappy and crafty but his ability to Attack from the back is why he's there. Same as Alba on the left now. Can't imagine the fear of an opposing coach when he sees Alba and Alves on the pitch together. Oof!
Do you actually watch Serie A or are you just a Milan fan? Trying to think of how anyone following Milan lately would even think they'll come close to winning it this season. Also it's an insult to Juventus. We're talking about a Milan team that lost several players and also just held a massive sale yet the reigning champions of their league are back basically as strong as ever. Carry on
Honestly I don't follow the Serie A as much so I was taking a shot there. So your guess is probably is more accurate than mine. The main reason why I picked Milan is because don't know how juventus is going to do without their coach this coming season.
I hope not! Kagawa is going make a difference on the final third of the field and I pray that the team won't be plagued with injuries this coming season. Sir Alex also has one or two more deals lined up so hopefully it pans out.
Premier League - Man City La Liga - Barcelona Bundesliga - Dortmund(Bayern have disappointed me thus far, really pessimistic about next season right now) Serie A - AC Milan Ligue 1 - PSG Champions League - Barcelona Europa League - PSG(messin up CL group and then winnin in EL)
Rumor has it that Lucas Moura is in Manchester for a physical, looks like he's going to Man Utd. Great signing for the future. Predictions EPL: Man Utd Serie A: Juventus La Liga: Barcelona Ligue 1: PSG Budesliga: Bayern UCL: Real Madrid
Didn't realize that Man Utd were also on the verge of getting Van Persie, damn http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...ie-Glazers-send-signal.html?ito=feeds-newsxml
I expect them to have a few more signings, that's why they unloaded a bunch of players. I'm not really deep into Seria A, is it rumoured that Milan will sign at least two more stars or semi-stars?
