    What are your predictions?

For regular season record, playoff seed or not, breakout players and underachievers?

I think 36-43 wins for the shortened season, 8th-5th playoff seed, and Lowry, Bud or Morris, and Hill or Patterson will have a solid year. With T-Will having a good chance as well.

    43 wins?
    Lol.
I predict something dancing around the .500 mark.

lol yeah, I think that's their absolute ceiling with everything going great (like *really* great). With the minimum or the lower middle of that range the more realistic.

Still, I think we can break in the playoffs this year if we remain injury free and everyone gels on defense.

Surprise playoff team out of the West, we are the 6th seed.

The team is extremely deep and young which in a jam packed season will be important on those relentless back to backs.

Just gotta avoid the injury bug.

    Oh ok. I got you.
I still think that's a bit high though.
.667 win percentage teams are usually the ones with the fourth or fifth seeds though. :p

I'm expecting somewhere from 35-31 to 39-27. Around the 6 seed.

Lakers don't scare me anymore TBH.

Their bench is trash and outside of Kobe and Gasol/Bynum, they are weak.

Bynum will miss the 1st 5 games and probably more due to health and Kobe might miss some time as well.

    1. Dallas Mavericks
    2. Oklahoma City Thunder
    3. Los Angeles Clippers
    4. Memphis Grizzlies
    5. Los Angeles Lakers
    6. San Antonio Spurs
    7. Portland Trailblazers
    8. Houston Rockets

I would prefer if the Rockets would just rebuild but I can definitely see Houston making the playoffs this year, teams with depth have a huge advantage going into the season and the Rockets have a ton of it.

I agree with the particular emphasis on depth with this year's schedule. And give or take some seeds moving up or down, I think this is about what it might look like this year.

I think we might be fighting teams like Denver, Portland, SA, and maybe even Utah for the lower seeds.

Although I pretty much agree with what you've written above, seeing teams like the Clippers and the Grizzlies ranked so high above us makes my head hurt.

It looks like we will be in the middle of the pack again :( Not good enough to be a contender and not bad enough to be in the lottery!! It sucks to be in this position.

I predict that Kevin Martin pulls his hamstring the second week of the season and misses 30 games.

Scola will go down with a high ankle sprain against New Orleans on Jan 19 and will be out for 3 weeks.

Then, Dalembert tears his MCL right before the All-star Break to be out for the season.

Bud will get concussion on a hard Flagrant Foul by Okur on a attempted dunk against at Utah and be out for 10 days.

Patterson will then miss 2 weeks with a groin injury, while Morris will also be out for 2 weeks with migraines.

Lowry will end up with a thorn thumb ligament on a blatant no-call against the Mavs on March 27th.

Hill will come down hard on Demarcus Cousins foot on April 8th.

And the Rockets will coast into the No. 3 pick in the draft...
