    Assuming Bynum's health, LA.

heat will destroy any team out west including LA, the only team that can beat miami is chicago and rose will have to play god like for that to happen.

If Bynum is healthy by the Conference Finals, the Lakers. They don't need him in the first round.

Do you remember the Heat had a losing record against contending teams?

    Heat are 3-8 against Orlando/Boston/Chicago

they won't get out of the East

2-0 against lakers. but i think a playoff matchup would benefit the lakers more with the size and consistent matchups.

Heat will be fun to watch, but they will be watching the finals on tv too

Regular season records do not transfer to the playoffs. The playoffs is a different animal.

I think the Heat will win the East now that the Celtics appear to have fallen apart. The Heat have underachieved and choked all season but at the end of the day they still have two of top five players in the NBA and stars win in the playoffs.

You can't just say that records don't matter. When it's against the other top 3 teams in your conference, and you are 3-8 aginst them.

    are you kidding me?

i know the playoffs are differnt. And i think playoff ball only favors the Celtics/Magic more than the Bulls/Heat.

Yes I am saying regular season head to head records do not matter in the playoffs. In the playoffs the focus is completely different; the schedule is different with the amount of rest and travel. You play the same team multiple times so there is no surprise. In a playoffs series the best team almost always wins (with few exceptions). The Heat are the best team in the East and they should win the East.

I was seriously on board with the Celts until the Perkins trade. Now I'm kind of stuck defaulting to the Bulls, but the Lakers wouldn't surprise me either. At this time, I truly feel like it's down to those two teams, with the Spurs and Thunder having a chance only if Bynum is unavailable.

Some serious overrating of OKC in hyah. They are good, but really not that much different than last year. They won't beat the Spurs if Manu is OK, because the Spurs have enough quick guards to stay with Westbrook and he is the guy who gets their offense going. OKC is built to beat the Lakers, but they won't get to face them.

Lakers & Bulls Finals. I wanna go with the Lakers to close off another 3-peat for Phil Jackson and the Lakers to end Jackson's coaching career.

Don't worry, I'm sure that's what the league wants too.
