I love Evans but it's not just him. Casspi, Greene, Hawes, and Thompson are all good now and still have room for growth. I think Martin is what he'll be, a great scorer. But, I think the Kings have found ways to score without him. When he comes back, I think he'll score but others will also score less. He really doesn't have a huge impact on the game but adding a post defender would really help them. They're obviously not in "win now mode" but I don't see why they can't go after some defensive help as they grow.
The major credit goes to Tyreke Evans. Everybody else around the Kings organization... players, coaches, gm etc are all secondary. Tyreke is literally turning around the Kings like B.Roy did for the Blazers a few years ago.
It's not just Evans but you can't argue that he deserves majority if not all the credit. There's lots of good to great players in this league but not many of them are true game changers as in having the ability to help/will their teams to victory. I think Evans has "it" like Leebigez was eluding to. He's single handedly making the Kings relevant again.
Yeah, that's true. To me, evans is kinda like wade in which he's a combo guard. I think beno is kinda like blake, just good enough to lose with. Casspi, greene, thompson, hawes, rodriguez, and nocioni are players on the up. I don't like evans playing the pg which is what he'll play with evans in the game. A guy like monte would be great next to evans in the backcourt. Martin for ellis could be a straight up deal for both squads. Ellis can get them into the offense and play off the ball which is his strong point as well as providing some explosion and footspeed at that spot.
