Had Fuentes not given up those 3 runs, no telling what would have happened. How can you say it would not have mattered? Do you think everything would have happened the exact same way if Fuentes did not give up those 3 runs? As leroy420 wrote, the Rockies may have won the game if Fuentes had held things at 6-5. Their chances would certainly have been better.
what's the point of pontificating what could have or might have happened? the rockies were one run down with a chance to take the lead with a runner on first and the winning run at the plate... they failed on that chance, the red sox scored 4 more runs and the rockies failed in future chances to score again... game over if my aunt had balls she'd be my uncle
And it gets cool enough just in time for me to break out my Sox sweatshirt. The universe is my friend... except for Yankee fans, but they dont matter. GO SOXXX! Their good is pornographic.
Congrats, Manny. The Yankees' pain continues... first losing A-Rod, and then on the same night watching the Sox celebrate their second championship in four years. I could care less about these two teams, but that makes it all worthwhile.
sucks that baseball season is over...... cant wait for "hot stove" talk. a rod this, a rod that, barry this, barry that. balco balco, theo theo, some neat new japanese dude, more steroids, a rod, a rod.
Baseball season is FINALLY over. im calling worst World Series rating of all time. A bunch of my friends including me didn't even know the World Series was going on.
Screw you! Last couple days I was like watching a long boring horrid movie. I am just glad it is over and I feel lucky that I am not living anywhere close to Boston so baseball is offically over for me this year. Still, Congrats to Red Sox for having an outstanding year from beginning to the end. You guys have some outstanding pitching stuffs and clutch hitters, which Yankees lacks both. Good luck (for this year only). Next year we will get ours.
